Timeless aspiration

The yogic practice of writing prayers or mantras in nature! 🌿 This rock is near our house and perfect to write on, and the tides keeps washing the words out to sea. “May all beings be free” is a timeless aspiration that echoes the core of both the Buddhist Metta (loving-kindness) prayers and the ancient yogic mantra Lokaha Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu. It is a powerful wish for universal peace, compassion, and liberation from suffering.

May all beings be free from mistaking the wave for the ocean, the mask for the face, the passing story for the eternal Self. May all beings be free from the hunger that no possession can satisfy, and discover the fullness that was never absent. May the restless mind find its way home to the still lake where the moon of truth is reflected without distortion.🌛 -M
