Love this thought, it’s very wise I think I too will strive to be an amateur this year as well. This brings to mind a classic book on Zen Buddhism ‘Zen Mind, Beginner Mind’ which basically says the same thing about meditation π§ββοΈ to try (or to let go and not try) to experience meditation as though you are a humble student. Namaste ππ
