Wanted to share these amazing old family portraits from our family tree πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ„ Taken in 1882. Exactly 110 years before I was born πŸ˜„ Six generations back in time.*

This is one of the many reasons I love photography πŸ™ŒπŸ» Colourised and brought to life by Per Ivar Somby recently. (Not the best quality because I took with my phone).

    1. Yes, they are, on my father’s side 😊 I am so happy these photos exist and that someone has brought them to life with colourisation! They were really nice in black and white but with colour, it’s like looking into more recent past, seeing familiar features and the clothing details.
They do have a proud and grounded look in their eyes, which I love seeing ❀ Been thinking maybe print some of them and have on wall πŸ™‚
